PeptideWiki exists to share scientific knowledge and personal experiences for educational purposes. We maintain a strict separation from any commercial activity related to peptide sourcing or sales.
What's Encouraged
- Sharing personal experiences with protocols, dosages, and outcomes
- Asking questions about mechanisms, research, or safety considerations
- Discussing scientific research and clinical trials
- Reporting side effects to help others make informed decisions
- Providing constructive feedback on others' experiences
- Citing sources when making scientific claims
- Respectful debate about different approaches or interpretations
Strictly Prohibited
- Sourcing discussions: No asking where to buy, vendor names, pricing, or quality comparisons
- Vendor promotion: No advertising, links, or referrals to peptide suppliers
- Medical advice: No diagnosing conditions or prescribing treatments
- Harassment: No personal attacks, bullying, or discrimination
- Misinformation: No deliberately spreading false or misleading information
- Spam: No repetitive posting, commercial advertising, or off-topic promotion
- Illegal content: No discussion of illegal activities or controlled substances
Quality Standards
To maintain high-quality discussions:
- Use clear, descriptive titles for your posts
- Provide context and details in your experiences
- Include relevant information like dosage, frequency, and duration
- Be honest about both positive and negative outcomes
- Update your posts if your situation changes
- Search before posting to avoid duplicate threads
Moderation
We read what gets reported. Most of what we take down is advertising: accounts that sign up to push a vendor or a site of their own.
When something breaks the rules above it comes off the forum, whether it is a discussion or a reply. A discussion stops appearing in the community index, in search results, and on the peptide page it was filed under, and its own link stops working. A reply disappears from the discussion it was posted in. Nothing is deleted, so anything taken down by mistake can be put back.
Posting and voting require an account, which is what lets us act on whoever wrote something rather than only on the post itself. An account that keeps breaking the rules, or that exists to advertise, is suspended: it can no longer sign in or post. The account is not deleted and neither is anything written under it, so a suspension can be lifted. Posts they already made stay up unless those break the rules as well.
Reporting
If you see something that breaks these guidelines, open Feedback from the site menu and tell us which post it is and what is wrong with it. We read every report, and we do not tell the person who was reported who reported them.
Appeals
If you think one of your posts was taken down in error, send it through the same Feedback form and we will look at it again.
These guidelines may be updated from time to time. Users are responsible for staying informed of current guidelines. Continued use of the community features constitutes acceptance of these guidelines.
