How do you all store your reconstituted peptides?

Quick practical question. I have multiple peptides going at once (BPC-157 and TB-500 currently) and I'm paranoid about storage. I keep reconstituted vials in the fridge, but how long are they actually good for? I've seen everything from 2 weeks to 60 days online. And does it matter if the vial gets briefly removed from the fridge for injections? Also — do you label your vials? I almost mixed up my two vials yesterday since they look identical after reconstitution.

Reconstituted peptides in bacteriostatic water (not sterile water — the benzyl alcohol in bac water is the preservative) are generally stable for 4-6 weeks refrigerated at 2-8°C. Some peptides degrade faster than others — BPC-157 is relatively stable, while more fragile peptides like GHRPs may lose potency after 3-4 weeks. Brief removal from the fridge for injections (a few minutes) is fine. Just don't leave vials out on the counter for hours or expose them to direct light. And yes — PLEASE label your vials. A small piece of tape with the peptide name and reconstitution date is all you need. It's basic but important.

I use colored dot stickers from Amazon — different color for each peptide. Blue for BPC, green for TB-500, etc. Also write the recon date on each one with a Sharpie. Cheap system that's saved me from mistakes more than once. And I toss anything older than 30 days regardless.

One thing I'll add — keep them in the back of the fridge, not the door. Door shelves have the most temperature fluctuation from opening and closing. Same reason you don't keep medications in the bathroom medicine cabinet (humidity and temperature swings).
